Why would I want my own account?
For most businesses, signing with Vissi's certificate is more than enough. Here are the reasons to take the next step.
Your brand end to end
Passes are issued under your own Apple identifier (Pass Type ID), not Vissi's. True white label.
Certificate ownership
You own the signing certificate. Your issuer identity belongs to you, even if you migrate providers one day.
Notifications under your identity
Apple Wallet push notifications (APNs) go out under your own topic, reinforcing trust and brand consistency.
Required for advanced cases
Certain integrations, corporate compliance, or agreements with Apple require the issuer to be your own entity.
Can I use the same certificate for multiple brands?
Yes. A single Pass Type ID and certificate can sign the passes of several brands or programs. They will all appear under the same issuing entity (your Apple Team ID).
A single certificate
If you have a group or holding with several brands and don't mind them sharing the same issuer identity, one certificate is enough and easier to manage.
One certificate per brand
If you need each brand to have its own separate issuer identity (for example, independent franchises), a Pass Type ID and certificate per brand is the way to go.

Create your Apple Developer account
Sign up (or use your existing account) at developer.apple.com. Apple charges an annual fee (~$99 USD/year) paid directly to Apple.
Create a Pass Type ID
Inside the Apple Developer portal, create a Pass Type ID for your cards.
Generate the certificate
Generate the certificate associated with that Pass Type ID from a signing request (CSR).
Export the .p12 file
Export your certificate as a password-protected .p12 file.
Submit your request
Fill out the form with your account details. Don't upload the .p12 here: for security, our team will coordinate its delivery through a secure channel.
We configure it
We integrate your certificate into Vissi and, from that moment, your passes are issued under your own brand identity.
